Third Ontario Leaders Debate: Sunday, May 27

This third televised debate will be broadcast live on May 27, from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the CBC Broadcast Centre in downtown Toronto.

It will be moderated by Global News anchor Farah Nasser and TVO host Steve Paikin. They will pose questions to the political party leaders that been curated by members of the broadcast partnership consisting of CBC, CHCH, CPAC, CTV News, Global News, and TVO. A live studio audience will also be asking questions and the candidates will again be able to ask questions of each other. (Source)

On May 11, 2018, Premier Kathleen Wynne for the Liberals, Andrea Horwath for the NDP, and Doug Ford for the PCs debate northern issues in Parry Sound in the second televised debate of the 2018 Ontario Provincial Election.




First Ontario Leaders Debate: Monday, May 7

Commercial-free coverage will begin at 6 p.m. live on City, CityNews.ca, the CityNews apps for iOS and Android and the CityNews Facebook page. The debate will also be broadcast in Punjabi and Mandarin on OMNI 2.

Six audience questions will be posed during the debate on issues relevant to those who live and work in Toronto, including policing, drugs, transit, education and real estate. Candidates will also get the chance to ask an additional question themselves. Find out the order of who will answer each question on the City News website.
